THE SITE
The railway line, entirely underground, connects the stations of Scampia/Piscinola, Mugnano, Giugliano, Aversa Ippodromo and Aversa Centro. It is around 10.5 km long.
THE PROJECT
Renovation and modernization of the Alifana and Benevento - Naples Railway: adaptation and completion of the Piscinola-Teverola stretch. Giugliano, Aversa Centro and Aversa Ippodromo metro stations. The work involved the 3 terminals, all of which are underground, built on two levels served by elevators, fixed stairs and escalators, as well as routes for the visually impaired. The passenger areas consist of a first level that hosts the station concourse and a second level where the platforms and trains are.
