THE SITE
The building, known as 'Palazzo Piacentini' and situated at 177/178 Via Toledo, is owned by Intesa Sanpaolo bank and has been listed by the Ministry of Cultural and Environmental Heritage, Central Office for Archaeological, Artistic and Historical Heritage, and the Superintendence for Environmental and Architectural Heritage of Naples and Province, since 1997.
THE PROJECT
Renovation of Palazzo Piacentini to create the "Gallerie d'Italia" museum. The project involves constructing a new venue for Banca Intesa Sanpaolo's 'Gallerie d'Italia' museum, including structural renovation work and installations, stone consolidation of the façade, building remediation, and the construction of ancillary and functional works for the modernization of the museum.
